ATTO 565 - Introduction
ATTO 565(ATTO 565) is an organic fluorescent dye widely used in biochemistry and fluorescent labeling.
The ATTO 565 has the following properties:
1. The absorption peak is located near 565 nm, and the excitation peak has very high absorption intensity.
2. The emission peak is located near 590 nm, with a strong fluorescence emission signal.
3. It has good solubility and can be dissolved in a series of organic solvents (such as water, ethanol, dimethyl sulfoxide, etc.).
The main uses of ATTO 565 include:
1. Fluorescent labeling of proteins and nucleic acids: Due to its excellent fluorescent properties, ATTO 565 can be used as a fluorescent probe to label and detect biological macromolecules.
2. Cell Imaging Research: ATTO 565 can be used for cell membrane labeling, organelle staining and live cell imaging research.
3. Biochemical analysis and virus tracking: ATTO 565 can be used for fluorescence analysis, such as enzyme activity detection, fusion protein analysis, and virus transmission and tracking.
ATTO 565 preparation method is more complex, generally obtained by chemical synthesis method. Specific preparation methods include the nitration reaction of aniline, the polycondensation reaction of O-cresol, and the reaction of fluorescent dyes with oximides.
When using ATTO 565, pay attention to the following safety information:
1. ATTO 565 is a chemical dye, which has certain toxicity and irritation. Direct contact with skin and eyes should be avoided.
2. In the process of operation, need to wear protective gloves, goggles and other personal protective equipment.
3. Avoid inhaling the gas of its powder or solution, and operate in a well-ventilated place.
4. Do not pour ATTO 565 into sewers or the environment, and dispose of waste properly.
5. In use and storage, should avoid contact with oxygen, acidic substances, high temperature and open flame.
